To keep your decorated sugar cookies fresh and delicious, store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week. If you need to store them longer:

• For long-term storage, freeze them in a single layer inside an airtight container for up to three months. When ready to enjoy, let them come to room temperature before serving to maintain their texture and flavor.

Avoid storing them in humid areas, as moisture can soften the icing.
